Cheetah Conservation Fund

CCF Trusts, Non-Profit Entities, Chapters and Linked International Groups

CCF trusts such as CCF UK and non-profit organizations such as CCF Namibia, CCF USA, Cheetah Conservation Fund Canada and other international groups linked to CCF serve as the backbone of the Cheetah Conservation Fund around the world. They raise a majority of the necessary funds for CCF in Namibia, as well as educate the public on the plight of the wild cheetah and the larger issues of habitat and ecosystem of which the cheetah is part. Other groups like Cheetah Outreach (South Africa) and Cheetah OutReach (RSA) are closely linked to CCF.

Chapters and Fundraising Partners

In the USA

USA Chapters generally sponsor fund-raising events during CCF Executive Director Dr. Laurie Marker's annual USA Tours. In addition, some Chapters hold events at other times of the year, such as the Run for the Cheetah. Chapters are managed by volunteers. Each Chapter has a volunteer leader or 'Chapter Head' who coordinates volunteers and organizes grassroots fund-raising events.

Participation in a local CCF Chapter is a rewarding commitment for members and volunteers. Many Chapter members have been to CCF Namibia and Kenya, have seen cheetahs in the wild, and enjoy working with others who love and support the cheetah. A common bond brings CCF's supporters together to help save this incredible cat from extinction.

Currently there are 12 Chapters in the United States: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, NY/NJ, Ohio (Cleveland), Oregon, Washington State, Metropolitan Washington DC, New England (Massachusetts), Texas, and Utah. For information on CCF USA and Chapters, click here.

Elsewhere

Outside the USA, other CCF non-profit organizations have been set up in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Japan. In addition, CCF has independent fundraising partners in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy, as well as supporting chapter in France. CCF is a truly international organization.
